Injections to take before traveling to Kenya.

When planning your trip to Kenya, you should consider taking injections so that you do not contract any diseases. Some parts of the country are more vulnerable to disease outbreaks and so you should arm yourself with the necessary injections. Areas that are more prone in towns are slums like Kibera in Nairobi where there is very poor sanitation and lack of adequate piped water which always leads to outbreaks of typhoid and Cholera. You are advised to take these injections when visiting such areas and always remember to carry with you bottled water.

The other injection that you must also take is malaria. This is particularly important when you are visiting the highlands parts of Kenya like the rift valley, Mount Kenya or Mount Elgon since there have been several reported cases in these regions.

There have been efforts by the government of Kenya to try and eradicate Malaria by providing free medicine and this will really help in reducing this disease.

Yellow fever is also prevalent in Kenya and what you can do to protect yourself from this is by taking the Yellow Fever injection which usually lasts in the body for a very long time and is mostly recommended for travelers who are planning to stay in the country for a considerably long time.

It is better to have the injections taken before you travel to Kenya because there is no certainty that you will get any in the chemists where you will be touring.

So you are thinking and planning for your next vacation spot, well why not travel to Kenya? Kenya has the most diverse of tourist attractions that you will not miss something that you will absolutely like. The country has been blessed with all the animals of the jungle and its wilderness is amazing.

When you travel to Kenya in June to September, you will witness the migration of the wildebeest from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya. This spectacular event usually attracts a lot of tourists from all over the world and it has even been named as one of the wonders of the world.

The breath holding moment during this season is when the wildebeests cross the Mara river that has crocodiles all over. Most manage to make it to the other side.

You will see the largest mountain in the whole of Africa when you travel to Kenya. This is at the Amboseli national Park which is also the home the largest herds of elephants in the country and region as well. Exotic bird and plant species can also be found here. Waking up to a snow caped mountain with clouds at the top and watching the sun set at this mountain is one moment in your life that you can imagine you are in paradise.

Truly Kenya is the best place to travel to for a nice vacation. Another thing is that Kenya won the award of best country in Eco tourism in the world on the recent Travel Awards in China.
